Treasure Shores Park

Tucked away north of Vero Beach along scenic Highway A1A, Treasure Shores Park is a quiet, nature-focused sanctuary renowned for its towering, pristine sand dunes and spectacular, wide-open ocean views. The park is highly popular with families, featuring a unique pirate ship-themed playground nestled in lush coastal foliage, scenic walking trails, and convenient facilities like clean restrooms, outdoor showers, and ADA-accessible beach crossovers. Visitors can spend a relaxing afternoon walking the extensive shoreline to collect beautiful shells, sunbathing, or keeping an eye out for local wildlife like the endangered southeastern beach mouse. To safeguard this critical coastal habitat and nesting ground, local laws strictly prohibit pets, open fires, and glass containers, while requiring all beachgoers to stay entirely off the fragile, vegetated dunes. Additionally, because this is an entirely unguarded beach with no lifeguards on duty, swimmers and wading explorers must exercise extra caution and remain alert to unpredictable Atlantic rip currents.
