Electric Beach

Electric Beach, officially known as Kahe Point Beach Park, is one of Oahu’s most popular snorkeling and diving destinations. Located on the island’s west coast, it is famous for its warm ocean waters that attract an incredible variety of marine life year-round. Visitors often spot colorful tropical fish, Hawaiian green sea turtles, dolphins, and other ocean wildlife in its clear waters. The beach offers a unique underwater experience thanks to warm water released offshore from a nearby power plant, creating an environment rich in sea life. While the snorkeling is exceptional, visitors should be aware that ocean conditions can be challenging and are best suited for confident swimmers.
