Seacliff State Beach, located in Santa Cruz County in Aptos, is a scenic coastal destination known for the remnants of the S.S. Palo Alto, a World War 1 era Cement Ship that was intentionally grounded off the coast. This iconic beach has ample parking, ramadas for gatherings and picnics, and a broad expansive beach for relaxation. Wildlife enthusiasts may spot dolphins, seabirds, and even migrating whales during the right season. The beach is closed at 10:00 PM and the parking facilities close at sunset.
