Scott Creek Beach is a scenic State Park beach known for its rugged coastal beauty and strong waves. Popular activities include walking, photography, and birdwatching. Scott Creek is also an important nesting site for the threatened snowy plover. Some areas may be seasonally restricted to protect breeding birds—please observe all posted signs. Portions of this area fall within Greyhound Rock State Marine Conservation Area; please check current MPA regulations beefore fishing. Parking is limited to the shoulder of Highway 1; use caution when entering and exiting the roadway. There are no restrooms or facilities at this site. Although popular with experienced surfers, ocean conditions are hazardous, with strong rip currents, cold water year-round, and the risk of sudden sneaker waves. . Swimming is not recommended. There are no lifeguards at this location. If you see someone in trouble in the water, call 911 immediately. Open Sunrise to Sunset
