We're excited to announce that HawaiiBeachSafety.com and SafeBeachDay.com have joined forces to provide beachgoers with an unprecedented level of beach safety information.

For several years, Watchtower's SafeBeachDay.com has been committed to helping lifeguards save lives through prevention. Our platform provides real-time information for beaches with millions of beachgoers nationwide. HawaiiBeachSafety.com has had a similar mission for the past 17 years: "making beach safety information accessible and useful" to everyone. They have provided an extensive array of beach safety information for the Big Island, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. From weather and current hazard to active alerts and recommended beaches, they've got it all covered.

By merging the two sites, we aim to provide beachgoers with a more comprehensive beach safety experience and offer a wider array of locations. Visitors will be able to access all the same information as before in one place, found on SafeBeachDay.com. During the transition, you will still be able to access the platform through HawaiiBeachSafety.com.

Safebeachday includes several new features to the platform, including FAQs and rules/regulation information for each beach. This new and improved platform still provides the same great safety information with the additional of activity and convenience information.

Our mission has always been to help first responders save lives through prevention. By bringing together the resources of HawaiiBeachSafety.com and SafeBeachDay.com, we're taking a major step forward in achieving that goal. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve and enhance the platform!

Swim at your Own Risk

Beaches and oceans are dynamic natural environments.  Crowd conditions, currents, waves, wild animals, and other water and beach conditions can rapidly change. The risks and conditions shown on this site are informational only and not always real-time.  Actual conditions may differ.  Lifeguards are not always on duty or available.  Always remain aware of your surroundings and exercise due care for your own safety and the safety of others around you.

Always check for water warnings or check with a lifeguard before you swim.
