It is one of the few beaches in Santa Cruz that allows dogs off-leash before 10 AM and after 4 PM, making it a favorite for pet owners. The beach is accessible via a staircase from West Cliff Drive, but tides can significantly impact its size, so visiting during low tide is recommended. While it's a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the coastal scenery, there are no restrooms or facilities, so plan accordingly.
