"Manresa State Beach, located in the southern portion of Santa Cruz County, offers uninterrupted coastal views and wide stretches of shoreline ideal for beachcombing, relaxing, and recreation. Popular with surfers and surf anglers, the beach draws visitors looking for a quieter experience along the coast. To the south, camping is available at Manresa Uplands Campground. Fire pits are placed on the beach seasonally, and parking is available on the coastal bluff above the beach. Ocean conditions can be hazardous, with dangerous rip currents and cold water present year-round. Visitors should use caution near the water, check current conditions, and stay alert at all times. Lifeguard services may be limited or seasonal. If you see someone in distress, call 911 immediately. The beach closes at 10:00 PM, and parking areas close at sunset.
