Bonny Doon Beach is secluded spot known for its stunning cliffs, soft white sand, and peaceful atmosphere. Located north of Santa Cruz along Highway 1, it is a favorite among locals for sunbathing, picnicking, and enjoying breathtaking ocean views. There are no restrooms or amenities at this location, so be prepared to ""leave no trace"" and take your trash with you. Strong currents and rough waves make swimming dangerous, so visitors should exercise caution near the water. There are no lifeguards at this location. If you see someone in trouble in the water, call 911 immediately. Beach Hours: Closed Sunset - 6:00AM
